pasta pasta pasta, every day, every meal. Toward the end it didn't even fit on one plate anymore. Thats about 300g of pasta if I remember, for the 5'o clock dinner the day before. I actually baked my own bread which went great against homemade marmalade. The final masterpiece. Proof that we actually made it and didn't just bought it. Well, I mean, we ate it, as bad as it looked it actually didn't taste that bad. but then the reality hits, hahaha. This was supposed to be the main thing we did. A multi layer cake with different flavours of filling for each layer. ... omg I can't believe we made this ... Proof I did something. Nah, I actually did quite a few things :) It started good... ... verry good Finally resting a bit. Guess who ran in this photo? I don't even know what to say, I just find this photo so funny. If anyone is wondering in the end Vito didn't kill anyone. My first full marathon done! Very happy with my time. After finally making it to the nearest tree, I just crashed down and set there for 30 minutes. At this time, I already recovered a bit. Was very happy with the time. Last couple of meters, there wasn't a part of me that didn't hurt. So while I was running, my dad actually managed to get a photo with the president of Slovenia, Borut Pahor. At about 20 km, still felt very well. Sadly that soon changed. Couple of minutes before the start. How cool is my shirt!? My dad was designated bag holder. This was taken before the race, still felt quite well. Snack pack. Chocolate bar for before the rest and gels for during the race. Map of the second day. There is also barely visible line where I actually ran. Map of the first day. There is also barely visible line where I actually ran. Me and Jakob after finishing first day of Lipica open. Finishing my first half-marathon. I was quite happy with the time, the goal was under 2h. ... I found out I wasnt completely dead. After recovering a bit... So yea, this was my 5th time on top. First time, I was 6 years old. I don't know how, but I actually walked/climbed all the way to top and back. I still remember, that my father had to carry about 5l of milk, in case I would be hungry and fancy milk, hahah, poor dad. Jakob preparing to slice the melon. Jackdows are quite common up there. People feed them on top, so they linger around. Views over the Italian/Austrian alpes Highest mountain of Slovenia, Triglav (2864m), 5th time. Baptism Last climb before the summit. Almost at the top Gorgeous views of the valleys way below Climbing up Mandatory animal petting session. Departing from planika Mateja practising some joga in front of the rising sun. Sunrise from Planika Planika in the dark. I could see some flashlights at top, I guess some people stayed there to watch the sunset. About 30 minutes to Planika, sun went down. Felt like a sherpa. We got our first glimpses of Planika cottage, where we were suppose to sleep.
